01 · The wood
Two slabs of Poplar
An offcut, with the live edges left as the tree grew them.

02 · The pour
A river of metallic blue
Resin fills the gap between the edges and sets for days.

03 · The sanding
Taken back level
I sand the set slab until the wood and the resin sit level with each other.

04 · The gloss
A clear coat on top
It brings the shine back, protects the wood and makes the blue and the grain stand out.

05 · Finished · 1 of 1

A buyer once told me their board was too nice to cut on. I'm still not sure if that was an insult or a compliment.

At 14 I needed £4,000 for a month-long school expedition to Indonesia. Selling my woodwork seemed a lot more viable than packing bags at the supermarket. So, I went to every fair I could with small chopping boards and platters… and it worked.

Read how it startedSeven of my eight Etsy reviews, all for pieces that have already sold.
The eighth is a 3-star, after a mix-up over what the buyer wanted. My average item review on Etsy is 4.7.
Every piece here is one of one. For one like a piece that's sold, I take requests.
See what's in stockYes, and there's only one of each. Wood and resin vary, so have a good look through the photos. The blue river table's legs, for example, have minor scuff marks from storage, and you can see them.
You pay a deposit by card, and the table is marked Reserved straight away. Within 5 working days I'll be in touch to arrange free UK delivery, or collection if you'd rather pick it up. You pay the balance before it goes out.

Nothing, anywhere in the UK, tables included. Checkout takes UK addresses only, so if you're outside the UK, ask me from the piece's page and I'll quote delivery before you pay anything.

The resin top stands up to scratches and heat in everyday use. Long spells of heat can soften it slightly, so I'd use coasters for hot drinks and keep it away from an active radiator. Glass cleaner, or any regular surface cleaner, keeps it clean.
Yes, every piece comes with a warranty, on top of your 14 days to change your mind. If anything's not right, get in touch.

Not the pieces in the shop: they're finished, and there's one of each. But I take requests for pieces like the ones that have sold. Press Request something like this on a sold piece and tell me what you have in mind.
