Blue river table in poplar
A poplar slab with a river of metallic blue resin running across it. The poplar was an offcut when I got hold of it, which made this a proper upcycling job. I coated the top in clear resin and sanded it back to a low sheen, so the grain shows through.

Living with it
Glass cleaner is best on the top, but any regular surface cleaner works fine.
The resin stands up to scratches and heat in everyday use. I'd still use coasters for hot drinks and keep the table off an active radiator, as long spells of heat can soften it slightly.
